Accessibility
Last updated: 25 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to make games with Chezalab. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Text and controls meet AA colour-contrast ratios, and we don't rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
- Every page works with a keyboard, has visible focus outlines, and offers a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and form labels, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
- Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content, and layouts adapt to small screens.
Known limitations
- The animated game preview on the homepage is decorative. Its content is described in text for screen readers, but the canvas itself isn't interactive.
- The game editor isn't available yet. As we build it, we're designing for keyboard and screen-reader use from the start, which is a hard problem for visual game tools, and we'd welcome your input.
Feedback
If something on Chezalab is hard to use, tell us at support@chezalab.store. Include the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 business days, and we can provide information in another format on request.
